Pours a yeasty, cloudy, dirty gold. Rim head and spotty lace. The taste is typical Begian: lots of wheat to go with a sweet caramel malt, strong yeast, alcohol, and butter rum, and a nice carbonation bitter to finish it off. Certainly not top-end, but just as certainly a decent brew.

Nothing special by any means, but something which could pair very well with light dishes. It was very crisp, clean, and dry. One of the drier beers I’ve ever had, almost like a drier champagne. It didn’t have anything awesome or special going on, and thus doesn’t get a great rating, but this is the most drinkable 2.8 I’ve ever had, and it probably is more functional as well, as it could be paired well with some dishes.

Draft @ de Paas. Pours out a clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma of raisins, grapes and yeast. Flavour is sweet and has some metallic tones in it. Overall sweet citrussy flavours along with some Belgian yeast. Nothing special, but I liked this one.

From a bottle poured a straw color with a good amount of head. Light malty spicy flavor with a quick finish.

Bottle by 25/07/2013. Dusty, yeasty, near-wild nose. Blonde body with a foamy white head. Taste would seem to be sweet but is actually pretty dry, this one’s all about the yeast, but the reduced hops and floral notes remind me of my old Belgian IPA that sort of, well, deviated from target. Wheat and a touch of orange in with a faint suggestion of metal. Full body with surprisingly well-integrated alcohol. Might be a devil in here.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 futre7 (110) - Taipei, TAIWAN - FEB 19, 2012
A more unspectacular Belgian beer than I expected. Little wheaty and metallic. It’s not bad it’s just blander than most of it’s ilk.

Bootled.Hazy gold with a nice white head, keeps a fair lacing. Aroma is malty, cereal, citrus, grapes, honey and hints of soar. Flavor is pretty much the same as aroma. Mouthfeel is quite dry.
