Bottle. Light light unclear light yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate yeasty, yeast, light hoppy, fruit, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to lively, finish feel is lifgr metalic. (120907)

A nut brown beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet with predominant notes of caramel, nuts, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, nuts, caramel, alcohol, and a body that is somewhat thin even though it is 7.5% ABV.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a diminising white head. Aroma is malty, caramel and into almond/marzipan notes, subdued yeast note. Flavour is light fruity, solid caramel malt and a mild lingering yeast note. Minor metallic note/edge. Ends sweet and light fruity lingering.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2006 (Bottle 33 cl) Golden, slightly hazy, decent head. sweetish, yeasty with a full body. frankly - this is a Duvel-lookalike, even the label is pretty similar. But still a nice, strong Belgian. 240493

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, with big white head. Fruity, slightly alcoholic and hoppy nose. Flavour is fruits, yeast, flowery hops and alcoholic. Still, it’s a good mix, even though not maybe the "best BSA".... Long fruity and hoppy aftertaste.

Nut brown. Sweet and malty. Full bodied. Good, but not very complex.

Bottle. Cloudy golden coloured with a huge white head. Aroma of fruits and spices with notes of alcohol. Fruity flavour of spices and alcohol.

Bottle @ Berts Bierhuis, Utrecht. Pours cloudy golden with a nice staying white head and lacings. Yeasty and fruity. Citrus, orange and vague spice. A bit of grain and grass. Full bodied. A touch of alcohol. Decent!

Blond color; big head. Good but expected Belgian Ale, balanced, with some coriander.

Bottle, 7.5%. Sweet, spicy aroma. Almost clear golden colour, big stable white head. The flavour is sweet and perfumy. Hint of metal in the aftertaste.
