Sten (227), Westerlo, Belgium Jun 29, 2006 Golden coloured beer with a firm white head. Nice hoppy aroma. The taste is slightly acidic (from the carbondioxide I suppose) with a dry and bitter finish. Indeed a very refreshing beer. (Bottle 33cl aged 3 years) JorisPPattyn (4492), Antwerpen, Belgium Oct 31, 2004 CHIRO - that’s a Catholic Youth Organisation, for you Americans!! Clear, Pilsner-like gold; nearly white head, creamy and dense. Citric hopsnose, very nice, lemonbalm, flowery. Ever so slight sourish flavour upon sweeter pale malts taste. Again lemony (lemonblossom?). Something lactic as well. Palate is a bit deserted by sensations. Very refreshing, light bodied, not thin. Aftertaste moves towards more bitter and dry. For a scouts-like organisation, for Chrissakes! This is great - and IMO by far the best from this brewery. The world turned upside down.
