3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Anne liked it though repeatedly questioned whether she had the right thing to waitress as it wasn’t very red. Heavy on the C hops for sure, citrusy.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at the Brewery. Fresh and fantastic nose. Strong lingering ellipses of hop surround the sturdy body of malt. Tropical tones? Yup, there they are, some light mango and blood oranges. Darker brown in glass. Moderate malt body, with undulating second half. Tried to let it warm a bit, but the somewhat rowdy and jostling crowd actually separated me from my beer for a bit. I felt lost at sea for a few minutes. Baby growler to go next time for further scientific exploration.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle from Dave’s Bellport Cold Beer & Soda. Pours a lightly hazed reddish amber with a moderate yellow-white head that lasted beyond mid-glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of orange and grapefruit with notes of malt and caramel. The flavor rich and malty with some caramel present as well. This is followed by some solid orange and grapefruit hops bitterness. Dries out at the finish. Medium-full bodied. Well done.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma of malty and some fruity hops, maybe mango or peachy? Flavor is roasted malt. Almost has a slight coffee taste. There is some hop balance as well. Full flavored, but light carbonation that died fast. Pretty good overall.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at pony bar HK. Pours a reddish amber body with thin white lacing, no head. Aroma is super strange for an IPA/pale - sweet caramel candy, vanilla, light pine needles and toffee. Thankfully and surprinsingly not a malt bomb. Flavors include bright pine and grapefruit. This is so weird. Almost like one of those candies that transforms flavors in your mouth. The aroma is completely misleading to what the the palate takes in, and it’s a not a bad thing. Overall, super unique and interesting.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A bit like a hoppy Irish ale. Lots of citrus on the nose, caramel, some nuttiness, grapefruit. Nice red pour, off white head. The flavor is lovely hop forward citrus/grapefruit, caramel, toasted malt, nutty. The finish is citrus, pine. Slightly thicker than medium in body. Nicely done.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a clear reddish copper body under a minimal fizzy off-white head that vanished quickly. The nose is nicely hoppy with some citrusy notes. A little too much toasty and sweet grain below the hops for my tastes though, hopefully this isn’t overly sweet. The flavor really reminds me of a moderately hopped Irish Ale more than what I’m expecting from an IPA. Lots of toasty and husky malt below the minimally bitter citrusy hops. This doesn’t reach up into IPA level as far as I’m concerned. If this is their most aggressive beer, then they need to expand their horizons a bit. Light to medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. This one just doesn’t do it for me.
