COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is Sloop Brewing’s artistic ale. The Sauer Peach’s complex flavors come from a natural sour culture. This tart flavor is woven with sweet peach nectar to provide your palate with a contrastingly balanced beer. It is light in body, and stands at 4.3 by volume. One theory holds that the Berliner Weisse style ale originated from the Huguenots passing through the Flanders region of Belgium on their way to Germany. Later, the Huguenots established a community in New Paltz, NY, which is just across the Hudson River from Sloop Brewery. This is our interpretation of their beer.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy pale gold with a thin-moderate white, somewhat fizzy, head that vaporized before the second sip and left no lace. Pleasant aroma of peach with some mild sour notes. The flavor is sour, but not mouth-puckeringly so, and nicely balanced with peach fruitiness. Very mild bitterness at the finish. Light-medium bodied. Very nice berliner weiss.

Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with small frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a strong peach nectar, funk, and oak. Thin mouthfeel with tart peach, funk, and sour finish. Easy to drink, very impressive.

Aroma is sweet and peachy. Taste is sour, but mildly so (as far as sours go). This is an easy drinking sour with a wonderful peach taste. ---AJ's Approval

Pours a lovely bright orange with a white head. Has a very soft sour smell. A soft tart taste that goes down smooth and leaves a clean finish.

Pours a cloudy golden color with quick fading creamy white head. Aromas of musty hay, citrus and a hint of peach. Taste sour with a touch of peach. Lively light mouthfeel. A little pucker to finish.

Musty sour smell with faint hints of fruit. Typical Berliner Weisse cloudy golden appearance. Tart sour taste with hints of fruit, if I was not told it was peach I probably couldn’t pick the fruit flavor, but fruit presence is identifiable. Over all a nice beer from a local brewer. Very refreshing during the summer.

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours bright, cloudy amber/ copper with a white head. Aroma of peaches, sourness and funk, some light malts and a little wheat. Flavor a nice blend of everything. Average texture. A good peach Berliner weisse.
