COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is Sloop Brewing’s artistic ale. The Sauer Peach’s complex flavors come from a natural sour culture. This tart flavor is woven with sweet peach nectar to provide your palate with a contrastingly balanced beer. It is light in body, and stands at 4.3 by volume. One theory holds that the Berliner Weisse style ale originated from the Huguenots passing through the Flanders region of Belgium on their way to Germany. Later, the Huguenots established a community in New Paltz, NY, which is just across the Hudson River from Sloop Brewery. This is our interpretation of their beer.

bottle, from Half Time beverage. Ok aroma, sweet, tart. wheat, peach. cloudy golden orange color, big head that settled quickly, minor lace. light tart flavor. Light creamy mouthfeel with soft carbonation, sort of abrupt finish, though tart sort of lingers, good, nice session kind of thing, dumped out sediment into my glass that impacted look. big floaties. aroma best part.

The aroma is peach, little acidity. The appearance is hazy yellow, white head. The flavor is peach, lightly tart, sour, vinegar. The finish is tart peach, light sour. Medium in body. Pretty nice. The first time I’ve seen a peach sour which was on the money.

Bottle share thanks to Jared/Paul, has a cloudy yellow pour with minimal white head. Had some yeasty aromas with a bit of lemon and peach. Taste was some yeast and a bit of earthiness and fruit.

Bottle shared by Jay at Zach & Matt’s tasting. Pours hazy peachy yellow with medium white head. Aroma is really fresh peaches; sweet juice and tart skins. The smell is really huge and incredible. Taste is both sweet and tart, like the aroma, but very well balanced. The freshness of this beer was outstanding

Thin with nice lactic sourness and good peach flavor. Nothing great but tasty crisp and clean with nice tart zing.
