Ohh ive had a few of these growing up. Discount pilsner at the local store. Yellow with a white head. Hay, straw, metal, corn & grass. Hops & malts. Slight sweet before a rather sour hop end hits you. The body is watery & thin! But hey, what can you get for 53 cents??

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
in can, supermarket in Chile - Slight aroma to hop, and more aroma to herbs. The color is very yellow, very clear and a rather small head. Watery body and texture, very slight. In single paladar it is left something of bitterness, but not very good. Weak.

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Can. Very cheap and mass produced Pilsner. Not much to say about this one. Clear yellow colour with a minimal head. Aroma has slight hoppy-grassy notes. Very watery in texture. Light bodied, with a slight bitter aftertaste.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Typical discount beer, but at least no bad taste just short of taste. I really hope they are not exported to Chile, which seems to be the case from last rating.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can 330 ml:
Pours a very clear, brilliant golden color. Head is small white and fully diminishing. It doesnít leave any lacing.
Aroma is malty with adjuncts and has notes of barley grains, corn, some herbs, metal and lactose. I would consider it cheap, but at least itís not skunky.
Flavor is very sweet, werid for a pilsener. In the ingredents I read glucose syroup so I guess thatís what it tastes like. I could swear they added that to make this drinkable. Very little hops towards the finish. At least itís drinkable considering the price (0.5 US$ in Chile).
Regular small lager body, lively carbonation, watery texture. Sweet finish and aftertaste. Again what describes this beer is the word ícheapí, but itís not a drainpour.
Why doesnít Denmark export Mikkeller or Olfabrikken better?
