gnoff (2568), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 21, 2006 Draught at The Rover May 13, Gothenburg Sweden. A "Demo brew" made from the brewery without it being a new beer intended for the market so to speak. Clear golden color, lasting white head. Lots of hops in the scent from Amarillo hops. Lots and lots of Amarillo hops in the taste. Very nice flavor indeed! Medium body and good bitterness. Compared to their other brands a hughe step in the right direction! jacob_wennbom (258), Uppsala, Sweden Nov 29, 2006 Lovley aroma from the amarillo and styrian gold mix (citrus, grapes and lots of other fruit as well). Looks like a golden yellow lager with nice white head but the fruity notes that strike you give its true nature away pretty soon. Taste goes in the same way but with a hint of sweet malt, I think is present in almost all of slottskällans products. However, as far as we’re talking this brewery, the golden ale is a new favourite for me. Bottoms up! fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Dec 20, 2007 Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007 Blond color. Very nice and fruity hop aroma. Dry mouthfeel, a bit of sweetness, good hopping; if it was not for some yeast fruitness, it would be close to a good Pilsner. Good. rlgk (3014), Motala, Sweden Oct 1, 2006 (Stockholm Beer Festival 2006) Orange/amber color, small white head. Nutty, malty aroma. Hoppy and malty flavor, floral and with elder notes. Hoppy finish. larsniclas (2795), Gothenburg, Sweden Jun 6, 2006 [Draught at The Rover, Gothenburg, Sweden.]
Golden with a small and firm, white head.
Fresh, hoppy and slightly yeasty aroma. A bit like a witbier.
Grassy and hoppy flavour. Rather dry.
