Magic_dave6 (3476), Glasgow, Scotland May 12, 2008 Who knows how many times iv had this beer, coming on 20 surely and i havnt rated it yet? Bottle thanks to a random sweed with rick’s group of jolly fellows! (2004 bottle) Nose is grainy, chocolate, peppery burnt alcohol. Taste is similar, possibly over carbonated, and suprisingly no sign of oxidation. Not my deal at all.

color:dark brown bit head
Scent: dark roasted malts ,sweet
Taste: Sweetish strong roasted malts , bit hops. Too sweet. I have tried this earlier and my memories about taste were so dryish that I was bit disappointed all sweetness...
JK54B (205), Finland Jun 3, 2008 Draught beer. A dark brown colour. Sweet thick taste. A well balanced amount of hops. Hints of chocolate and raisins in the taste. bermod (81), Lappeenranta, Finland Jun 3, 2008 Aroma is roasted and slightly burnt malts, a lot of coffee, syrup and chocolate. Roasty and very coffeish aroma with syrup and hints of chocolate. Alcohol warms, but doesn’t really taste. Very smooth and easy to drink. Jonte (315), Gothenburg, Sweden May 30, 2008 Updated: Jun 17, 2008Bottle from 2006. Dark brown/black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark fruit, licorice, cocoa, spices, and cream. Rosted and sweet taste with notes of coffee, licorice, dark fruit, chocolate and some alcohol. Rosted, dry and a bit bitter finish. Crosling (1598), Loveland, Colorado, USA May 19, 2008 Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm, Sweden. A dark brown beer with a small white head. Hints of malt complexity in the nose, with peanut brittle, butter toffee, light chocolate and weak coffee. Has the taste and aroma of a dead filtered beer, but strangely, has some sediment on the bottom. Flavor is similar to the nose, with the same descriptors. A fairly good beer here.
