Bottle. Thanks to ekstedt. Dark brown with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of coffee, chocolate, plums and leather. Smooth bitterness with some acidity. Soft mouthfeel.

Aug 7, 2008 Had to wait a bit to get any aroma out of this. When it opened up to me, it was pleasantly nutty and chocolatey. A bit on the sweet side but nice as a dessert, complex enough for a re rate in the future.

Jul 27, 2008 330 ml bottle. Very dark reddish brown colour, thin light brown head. Strong and sweet aroma of roasted malts and coffee. Smooth and full mouthfeel, very pleasant. Flavour of roasted malts and dark fruits. Alcohol warmth and slight bittertness in the finish. A bit too sweet, I was expecting a drier taste.

Jul 22, 2008 Bottle. Red/brown/black color. Fruity and rosted aroma with some vinious notes. Taste is really smooth with lots of coffee and chocolate and also some banana actually.

Jul 19, 2008 Deep dark, orange brown color with beige, small and quick vanishing but lacy head. Rather sweet aroma is very roasty malty with coffee and hint of alcohol. Sweet flavor is roasty malty with a bit of fruitness. Finishing is ashy bitter. Palate is full-bodied, oily and low carbonated.

Taste: Sweetish strong roasted malts , bit hops. Too sweet. I have tried this earlier and my memories about taste were so dryish that I was bit disappointed all sweetness...
