Ungstrup (10824), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 11, 2005 [At STockholm Beer Festival 2005] An unclear orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and slightly acidic with slight notes of celery. The flavor is sweet with a nice malt blend, combined with herbs and celery, leading to a dry hoppy and bitter end. TBone (4616), Pori, Finland Oct 3, 2005 Draught
Amber hazy color, not much head. Cut grass hoppyness, some yeast. Soft yeasty palate, some hoppyness. Grassy, unfiltering softs the corners. oh6gdx (5195), Vaasa, Finland Oct 3, 2005 Draught. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Fruity weak hoppy aroma. Flavour is hoppy fruits with hints of yeast and barley. Pleasant mix and wellbalanced. Fruity, a bit hoppy aftertaste. pilsnerrogge (1554), Finspång, Sweden Oct 3, 2005 (Draught@Stockholm Beer Festival 2005) Hazy amber colour, weak head. Fruity apricot aroma. Fruity flavor.......the rest of my notes were unreadable....it was a beer festival, you know. sayravai (2992), Helsinki, Finland Oct 2, 2005 (Draught@Stockholm Beer Festival 2005) Very hazy, light reddish amber color with almost no head. Somewhat sahti-like, yeasty, sweet and bananaish aroma with vegetable hints. Malty, sweetish but acidic, fruity and tannic flavor. Medium-bodied, acidic and bitter palate with lowish carbonation. Sahti-like, but not the most pleasant brew.
