(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 19 Sep 2008) Reddish brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, dried fruit and sour dough bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dried fruit and Christmas spices (cardamom?). Fairly low bitterness, rather sweet. Not really balanced, but drinkable.

Huge dark beige lasting head. Faintly hazy red-brown body with vigourous carbonation. Sugary, malty, peppery aroma with roasty herbal spicy dried fruit notes. Very harmonic. Dryish spicy fruity taste of cinnamon and cloves with peppery herbal notes. Mouthfeel is kind of thinnish and a bit dusty, but still nice. Taste is long, but there is no distinct aftertaste. Very nice! (0.5l bottle, Systembolaget, Göteborg.)

Dark golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of yeast, spice and malt. The flavour has notes of roasted malt, caramel, candy sugar, spice, some fruit and a delicious, slightly bitter finish. Very like a British Christmas ale, not as "Christmassy" as many beers from other countries.
