Draft. Dark to black colored beer with a lasting small light brownish head. The color of the head is surprisingly light compared to the color of the beer indicating not only burned malts were used for coloring. Aroma of dark fruit and alcohol. Sweetish alcohol flavors, some dark fruits and notes of coffee and chocolate. Bitterish alcohol warming aftertaste.

Cunningham (2972) - Halden, NORWAY - MAY 5, 2013

Appearance: Black color with a creamy beige head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Mild oak, coffee and chocolate.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a mild bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, mild oak and vanilla. Some alcohol coming up.
Overall impression: Tasty and easy drinkable impy. But something is missing from an imperial stout at 11% abv. Lacs some punch and power.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with SaintMatty

Furseth (1866) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - APR 19, 2013
Sample from bottle at ÖWGBG-2013: Hazy dark red colour, with a thin brown head. Aroma had aloys of woody, whisky "nose",sweet maltynes, and vanilla!! and fruits. Flavor had a smouth mouth feeling of caramelly, vanilla, wooody, and a nice alcy finish, complexity is the Word for this beer. Big body and a long woody/fruity finish.

Bottle, bought @ systembolaget, hyltebruk. Pours deep black with a small, fizzy, beige film head. Aroma has sweet vanilla, oak, roasted, quite some plums. Highish carbonation, fairly oily mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of vanilla, warming alcohol, plums, roasted and some chocolate. Lingering, warming finish.

Bottle @ Pikkulintu. Pours pretty black with small brown white head. Notes of coffee, chocolate, slight burbon whiskey. Abit too much of burnt taste. Good spices and boozy. More straightforward "pärähtää" in your face. Not so smooth but great taste. Also notes of licorice.

Det här är ju inte bra hur man än försöker. Sträv. Klen kropp. Bismaker. Bourbonfat känner man inte ett smack av.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours dark brown in color with a tan head. Some wooden notes and light spicy vanilla in aroma. Some bourbon in taste, a bit harsh it feels with some boozyness that is detected. More straightforward that keeps you going, no hesitating here. Boozy vanilla bourbon in aftertaste. Some spicyness as well.

Linnet (744) - Umeå, SWEDEN - MAR 8, 2013
Ar: vanilla, toffee, cocoa, light roastiness, light notes of ash and coffee, bourbon coming through in the finish. Ap: very light colour for an imp, transluscent Brown/ reddish colour, small quickly disippating beige head. F: kind of thin, for an imp, noticable notes of bourbon, roastiness, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, ash, boozy finish. P: overly carbonated. T: love the bourbon aging, but the beer in it self is not very impressing, thin body for an imp.
