Draught@SBWF2012. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is mild lactic sourness with liquorice, toffee and some spices. Mild hints of alcohol as well. Flavour is wood, spices, liquorice, vanilla and some slight notes of alcohol.

Very dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of raisins, vanilla, bitter chocholate and some roasted malt. Slightly sour and bitter. Kinda thin and watery actually.

Bottle (Stockholm Beer Festival 2012) - Black in colour. Rich aroma with notes of coffee, liquorice, roasted malt and whisky. Roasted malt, liquorice, plain chocolate and whisky all feature prominently in the rich and smooth taste.

Pitch black, foamy head.. A complex but pleasant smell..oaky, coffee, chocolate, the taste is also along those lines. Full bodied rather easy to drink.. Love it..

Pours pitch black with a foamy head. Aroma of roasted malts, vanilla, oak and sourish notes. Taste is sweet and woody with notes of roasted malts, hints of vanilla and sourness. Finish is sweetish and slightly roasty. Unbalanced imperial stout, a lot worse than the regular one.

Draught at SBWF. Black, no head. Aroma of licorice and bourbon. Ner full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Some oak, vanilla and chocolate, notes of whisky, lots of licorice. Fairly dry and less bold than I remember their regular Imperial Stout.

Black with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, dark chocolate, wood and oak. Also some bourbon and dried fruit. Alcohol in the aftertaste. Not bad but not brilliant either.

Sample from the brewery. Primarily malty smell with chocolate and caramel, fairly sweet with some oak and whisky in the background. Similar taste. The different aromas mix well together and makes for a nice beer to lean back and sip on.
