330ml bottle (Konttori, Tampere) (7+:5:7+:4:14=3.8++)
Black, huge rocky tan head. Nice hoppy aroma, but clearly a dark roast too. Spicy, and even some coconut. Full palate. Full roast, burnt bitterness, ever-present grapefruity hops. Burntness just on the limit of aggressivenesss. Good hoppy dark stout.

Svesse (5898) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - OCT 28, 2012
(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep 2012) Dark brown colour with lasting pale brown head. Roasted, hoppy nose with notes of roasted malt, pine needles, grapefruit, chocolate and a touch of tar. Roasted, hoppy taste with pine needles, grapefruit, ashes, dark bread, coffee and a solid piney bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Almost full body, quite dry. One of the better black IPA’s I’ve tried. Excellent.
