Bottle. Hazy copper body with a small offwhite head. Aroma is quite malty with oranges, pears, yeast. Taste of caramel, raisins, alcohol notes, faint citrusy. Pretty sweet with a light boozy and fruity finish.

2012 bottle @ home, thanks to _angst_ if I remember correctly. This one kind of got lost in my cellar, so hopefully it’s ok. Pours a dark orangish brown appearance with a fairly thin tan head. It definitely has some oxidation but there are some nice citrus and dark fruit notes in the nose. Some spicy yeast in the aroma as well. Kind of dusty and papery. Body is a bit thin. It probably thinned a bit over the last two years. Yeah, there’s some cardboard but it doesn’t have a decent flavor despite the age. Orange citrus, doughy yeast, and apricots. Kind of a fun beer that sort of reminds me of a ten year old Chimay. Unfortunately this is only two years old, so it doesn’t appear to hold up as well.

Bottle 33cl 9% 20140328 #K1202 version 2012;
hazy red-brown beer, tan head, some dense lacings.
Aroma; fruits, plums, peaches, fruity malts, citric wheat malts.
Taste; fruity malts, bitter, dark fermented fruits, rum.
Surprisingly soft feel for that 9% abv.
Finish with juicy fruity malts, chocolate, coffee, a bit too much yeast, but fades out nicely.

Ölen är från 2001. Doft spritig i början men efter väntan får doften karaktär i form av plommon russin. Smakar: spritig russin terpentin. En god och gammal öl. Mycket spännande!

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
2012 vesion.33cl bottle. Deep, hazy, dark amber beer that pours with a loudly fizzing beige head. You can smell the ripe fruit and caramel from a foot away. It has a smooth and creamy mouthfeel. and bitterness that balances out the caramel malt and a smoothness unparalleled for its strength.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle 330 ml from PMgep, thanks Stefan! Into a snifter, ABV 9%
Deep red orange colour on the body, quite clear, with one finger of thin off-white head sitting on top. Okay retention for its size, light lacing left behind.
Aroma is sweet and fruity, with grapes, honey, malts, very appealing and inviting.
Taste is also sweet and quite fruity, dried apricots, grapes, berrie marmalade, some dark fruits too. The alcohol very well hidden.
A bit thin on the body, low carbonation too.
Overall this was pretty good, needs only more body, but other than that very enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma is of yeast, flowers and a little musty. The flavor is very sweet which atleast I enjoy. This does not taste so classic Quadrupel. The sweet taste mixes himself with the bitter the aftertaste and fills the mouth’s upper part with flavor. There is a small cherry-like in the finish. Maybe not such a long time but I know me pretty happy with this beer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a cloudy brown color with a small, lightly tanned head. Aroma is candy, figs, coriander and yeast. Taste is abit weird, with some light sourness amongst the sweet fruity character that is dominating. Close to full bodied but abit light on the co2.
