Bottle from Systembolaget. Clear amber with a frothy one inch white head that disappears fairly quickly. Caramel , some plum, floral hops in the aroma. Taste is light sweet and light/medium bitter, finish is a bit watery and light dry bitter with a floral touch. Light/medium body.

500ml bottle. Copper clear body, white head. Loads of fudge, some roasted malt. Light palate. Pretty easygoing.

Flaska, ebest från SB. Lätt grumlig konjaksfärgad öl, med ett finger stort skum. Dofter av karamell, torkad frukt och brunt socker. Sött. Desamma går igen i smaken, och avslutas med en viss beska. Aningen tunn kropp.

Bottle. Hazy light amber color with a thin creamy head. Mild aroma of caramel. Slightly sour taste. Flavors are caramel, grape and rotten apple. Medium thin body. Slightly bitter finish.

Bottle at Tröls. Amber colour with no head. Aroma has malt and toffee. Taste has toffee malt, quite a lot of metal and some bitter hops. High carbonation and pretty light bodied. More bitter hops and less metal and this would have been quite nice.

500ml bottle picked up in Kiruna, from Systembolaget e-beställning. Good looking with a close to clear golden-amber body. Off-white, one-finger, head. Smell of dark fruits and caramel malts. Plums successfully mixed with semi-sweet malts leading to a dry, dark bitter ending. Tasty, well-balanced ESB (at Finns with the distant sounds from Turbonegers live concert at Døgnvill, Tromsø 23.08.2012).

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2012 Flaske 0,5l fra Systembolaget, e-beställning. Drukket under Døgnvillrating med Rune 23 Aug 12. Brun. Høyt, litt farget skum som varer. God karamellaroma med innslag av tørket frukt. Smaken er tørr frukt. Svisker, nøtter og plommer. Syrlig, litt bitter ettersmak. Et godt øl! Litt uklar i siste kvelling.

Bottle. Clear amber colour. Grass, nuts, caramel, floral & earthy hops, oranges, a bit metallic. Dry and medium bitter finish.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20120612) The beer poured deep copper coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, toffee and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were toffee, grass, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, mildly sweet and bitter. Clean and tasty but the bitterness was a bit too intense for this kind of beer.

Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear copper, medium off-white head. Nutty and bready malt aroma with earthy and herbal hops. Light to meidum bodied, medium carbonation. Dry with firm bitterness.
