Pours dark copper colored with tiny head. Smells malty-spicy with some toffee and caramel. Starts with some roasted malts and lots of caramel, some chocolate is noticeable. The middle part has lots of caramel malts, toffee, herbs and some roasted malts. Goes into a roasted malty finish with soem aroma hops, herbs and caramel. Very nice one!

500ml bottle, 2012 edition. Clear copper/brown body with a brief white crown. Ginger, orange, cinnamon and dried fruits. Brief bitterness. Light carbonation. A pretty thin beer, but not at all bad.

Sweet, malty, soft, silky. This is a fairly elegant take on the traditional Scandinavian Christmas beers, but it is too sweet to get really good grades. Pleasant round mouth feel.

Aroma: Rather weak smell, some sweet malty tones. some citric alcoholic nuances.
Appearance: A copper-toned, orange clear beer. Lots of bubbles but little head, that leaves nothing on the glass.
Taste: The taste is mostly sweet, some malty, raisiny impression. Some sharp bitterness that goes away quickly. Alcohol and some acidness is noticed.
Palate: Good carbonation and "easy to drink".
Overall: Not a favorite.

Mörk öl, som går mot rött. Stort skum. Både doftar och smakar som en julöl ska. Mörk sirap, knäck och torkad frukt når näsan, sen är det mörkt bröd, apelsinmarmelad och choklad som trivs väl i munnen. Fin sötma, med avslutande svag beska, som passar mycket bra ihop med julmaten.

A 50 cl bottle at home in Skövde. A nice amber colored beer with a offwhite head. Malty, roasted aroma with a slight berry note. Classic christmas spices, malty with some dark bread flavour.
