Nordic är en ljus lager i nordisk småbryggeristil. Elegant maltig och rejält humlad med påtaglig beska och frisk eftersmak med citruskaraktär. Nordic on moderni vaalea lager, edustaen pohjoismaista pienpanimotyyliä.

Lysegul. Raskt dalende bobleskum. Veldig god fruktig aroma: Ananas. Smaken det samme - men litt tynn. + for etiketten. KI=5

(Bottled, rated 2011-06-18) Almost clear golden with a small head. Strongly citrusy-aromatic nose - close to being dish-washing-liquidy - but also nicely pine-resiny. Crisply hoppy flavor with lots of both aroma and bittering hops for a pale lager. The finish is even astringent in its dryness. On the other hand, the honeyish maltiness is balancing the flavor, making the body stand the hop power better, and avoiding wateriness. Quite light body, though, with slightly fizzy but lowish CO2. Reminds me of Kievari Humalainen, but with less stuffiness typical of low-ABV hop bombs. The "Nordic" remains a mystery to me, though.

(Bottle, Grand Hotel Hörnan, Uppsala, Sweden, 17 Sep 2011) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with grainy malt, citrus and grapefruit. Malty, hoppy taste with fresh notes of grainy malt, citrus, grapefruit and a generous bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Medium body. Tasty, refreshing, well-hopped lager with high drinkabiity. Quite nice.

Golden beer with a weak and white head. Aroma is fresh and quite strong, lemon, sweet malts, citrusfruits and red berries. Taste is biscuity, some berries, and surprisingly, lots of wooden and also some lemony hoppyness. Quite light to drink, but not watery, quite nice. Positive lager, lots of bitterness and flavours, more sophisticated touch would be made this even better; succesfull brew.
