Getestet beim LCRBM Herber Antrunk, verbunden mit angenehmer Malzigkeit kommt mir das Bier fast vor, als hätte ich eine deftige Mahlzeit vor mir stehen... Etwas würzig, nach und nach abnehmend. Test vom 10.9.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,9,8,9,5,9 - 8,75

Bottle 50cl.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dusty, nutty notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081121]

Bottle, thanks OleR. Sweet and malty, but more balanced and with a fuller body than most of the beers marketing under this style. Some dryness in the finish. A very decent lager.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is breadish and mild roasted malty. Flavour is distinctively breadish and mild spiced. Light bitter and breadish malty into the finish. Quite pleasant and smooth with a dominant malt flavour.

500 ml bottle. Deep golden to pale amber. Small offwhite head leaving fine laces. Clean and rich malt aroma, faint caramel and mild citrus notes. A lemony fruitiness in the flavor, semi-dry malts and fresh, light floral bitterness. Sparkling mouthfeel. Dry malty ending. Nice brew.

esox (1069) - Oulu, FINLAND - OCT 29, 2008
500 ml bottle from systembolaget. Pours clear copper with thin white head. Malty aroma aroma is somewhat hoppy with a touch of grass and lemon. Slightly metallic in the finish. Malts are sweetish, and there´s some fruity elements too. Dryish and bitter in the finish. Palate is medium bodied, quite slick and moderately carbonated. Quite ok representative in the style that is not my favourite.

500ml bottle. Small white head, diminishes fast. Gold+reddish color.weak Aroma of bitter malts, caramel. Palate is low on carbs. Flavor: at the start sourish malts and hops, some earth..bitterness. EDIT: Like FatPhil notes, this tastes a lot like bitter.
