Roasted aroma with cocoa powder, coffee, and some phenolic clove like notes, alsom some herbs. Flavour is dry and roasted with cocoa, coffee and liquorice, and also some phenolic notes. Medium bitterness with some herb-like/grassy notes in the finish. Mediumbodied with rather lively carbonation. Hm, not that convinced.

Bottle from Systembolaget, february 9th 2013. Black body, big tanned head. Roasty and hoppy aroma, coffee, herbs. Taste of dark chocolate, roasted malt, erthy hops, licorice. Nice dry mouthfeel as I like in a porter, robust bitterness, aftertaste is roasty with earth. A nice porter.

Bottle. Pours black with a big beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and malt. Flavor is sweet and roasted with some chocolate and grains leading to a dry finish. Medium to thin body, average carbonation.

330 ml bottle. Dark brown body, close to black with a big, foamy tan head, Nice aroma of roasted malt, coffee and liquorices. Flavour of dark roasted malt, liquorices, coffee and quite bitter. Fine body with a long, dry, aftertaste with roasted malt and coffee. A bit robust in style, but I really enjoyed this one.

Deep brown almost clear body with a big-bubbled head that laces the glass well. Strong aroma that initially feels very sweet, but after a while it becomes more dusty and dry. Roasted notes, dark caramel and chocolate, with some smoke and tobacco in the back and even further back I find some fruity hints. Light sweet and light bitter taste. Strong roasted malty flavours with chocolate and coffee. Also hints of fruits and herbs. Smooth and dry texture with a bit too soft carbonation for such a light body. Still a very nice beer!

33cl bottle. Dark brown color with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee and a hint of metal. Slightly sweet flavor with roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and some earthy notes. Medium to full body, dry and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Soft, silky smooth. A bit thin, but there is a lovely bread crust and roasted malt flavour here. Coffee, too. Very dark brown.

Bottle at the flat in Stockholm. Pours dark brown with a creamy, beige head. Dusty cocoa nose, hints of tangy dark malts, burnt earth. Light to medium sweet flavor with some bitter earth, burnt cocoa, charred wood, slight minerals, burnt grass. Medium bodied with average, smooth carbonation. Mild sweetness to finish with burnt and dusty cocoa, tobacco, mud, earth, dirt, burnt toast and burnt grass, dry and burnt wood. OK.
