COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Small white head. Clear deep yellow body. Light grainy aroma with fruity papery notes. Dryish grainy rubbery taste with fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish grainy mineraly fruity aftertaste with rubbery spicy notes. Niceish, and certainly drinkable, but lacking in flavour and character. (0.2l draft at 1892 Ölstugan, Göteborg.)

330ml brown bottle, labelled Nordic EKO, 4.5% ABV, barcode: 7331422151517, poured into a lager glass. Aroma of grass, lemon zest and bread. Flavours of lemon zest and read. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light bodied, watery texture and average carbonation. Slottskällans Nordic EKO is a decent light bodied and refreshing lager.

330ml bottle enjoyed straight out of the bottle. Light bread, grass and citrus. Smells more refreshing and citrusy than it tastes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lawger (234) - SWEDEN - MAR 31, 2015
Pours a clear pale gold with white head. Malty bouquet with a slight burnt gun powder hint, buttered popcorns and slight hoppiness. Light to medium bodied, creamy/buttery palate with malty notes and low to moderate bitterness. This is a good, clean and well made lager. Simple, but more interesting than a standard macro lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours clear golden in color with a small whitish head. Light notes of hay, garden fruityness and green herbalness in aroma. Green grassyness, light mineral notes, citrus fruityness and hints of spicyness in taste. Nice one, refreshing too.

Fine modest off white head, clear golden body, not pale. Modest lacings, one rim and small kitchen curtain. Aroma; fresh citric hops, fresh grassy hops, spices, floral touches, bread notes, lemon-tart-creamish notes. Taste; hops in front of the taste, then crispy rye bread, nut oil, butter, cheese, sweet sap, bread malts, slightly roasted. Normal and slightly slicky on palate with pilsener’ish crispiness. Fine malty finish with some crispy hoppy notes on. This is a golden pilsener. [33cl brown btl Slottskällans EKO-Lager 4.5%abv BB13.09.14]

Slottskällans EKO-Lager, 4,5%
Clear golden beer with little white head dissolving quickly. Aroma and flavor have buttery diacetyl, pale malts and grassy hops. On flavor the fresh cut grass of the aroma turns more into dry hay. Finish has a decent bite of bitterness – not too strong but a long finish. Palate is thin and at times watery with high carbonation. Kind of a Czech pils feel, not bad at all, but gets a bit musty towards the end of the glass. Bonus point for being organic.

Clear golden with thin and short white head. Dull grainy aroma, just a hint of butter and hay, bit corn. Light and bit watery, low and soft carbonation, malty and one-sided, semisweet, rubbery flavor and feel also actually. Easy to drink and forget kinda beer.

The aroma is of light citrus. The taste is good and malty with a hint of metallic taste. The aftertaste is bitter weak but almost disappears as you start to feel it. Straight down the throat of the sadly. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
