COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Våröl hyllar vårens ankomst.
This pale lager beer has a pleasant and obvious maltiness that creates aromas of bread and grains.. Hops has been added in large quantities which adds a flowery and aromatic nose.

Bottle. Clear yellow, small fizzy white head. Quite bland and grainy malt aroma. Decent mouthfeel. Good balance and bitterness, but another in a long row boring brews from Slottskällan.

Bottled. Yellow coloured. Light foggy. Fluffy white (wild) head. Heavy carbonation. Sweet, fruity and light herbal nose. Flavour is floral, sweet and fruity with some occasional caramelnote. Quite bland and watery. Thin bodied. IS a bit dry in the mouthfeel. Ends on a light herbal bitterness. Very anonymous beer.

(Bottled) Colour is golden yellow, with a huge, frothy, but disappearing, head. Some kind of residue in the bottle. Nose is malty, bready, a bit lactic, with a lovely fresh hop aroma: very floral, grassy and herbal (rosemary, lavender). Taste is malty and bready, with a nice floral, hoppy and fruity character and notes of tropical fruit and herbs. Hoppy, but not bitter. Not very complex, but well balanced. On the thin (and short) side. Nice beer, refreshing with a nice hop character.

500 ml bottle. Very bright golden and clear. Throws a tall coarse white head. Yeasty aroma with a little hop aroma in the back. Bread and a little grass. Light-bodied. Crisp with a distinct hop bitterness. A little malt sweetness can also be detected, but this is only in small amounts. Very high carbonation level. The yeastiness spoils this beer for me. In any case is reminiscent of a plain straightforward boring pale lager, so I don’t think it can be much improved either.

Ungstrup (29172) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 15, 2006
A hazy light yellow beer with a thin disappearing white head. The flavor is dominated by aroma hops which gives it strong notes of grass and flowers - a bit too much for my liking. The flavor is sweet - a bit too sweet for me, with quite a lot of hops, giving it a dusty note, combined with a note of grass.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pors a clear, pale pilsener golden with a small, white head. Vaguely fruity, malty aroma. Medium body, sweetish with accents of aroma hops that don’t leave much bitterness. 110606

Pale yellow, thick white bubbly head. Fruit, hops and pine needles in aroma. Some exotic fruits in flavour. Im thinking pineapple and passionfruit. Quite watery. Finishes off slight bitter.

Short head. Standard color. Present maltiness, more hops and herbs than average, has a nice fragrance of flowers. A ood lager.
