aroma and taste remind me of a sahti style. appearance is a mud brown beer with very long lasting white head.

Cloudy dark brown color, with small head. Aroma of malt, yeast, cane sugar, light banana, light spices. Flavor of caramel and wheat, with moderate spices, light fruit; the bitterness is quite high, but not too much; there are traces of liquorice.
On the quest for a Black Saison, they found a Dunkelweizen Bock.

Pours very dark brown with medium head. Aroma is sweet malts, banana, alcohol. Flavor is hops, malts, fruits and yeasty wheat. Quite nice.

Bottle. Hazy brown colour with a medium sized beige head. Malty earthy aroma. Flavour is malty, somewhat sweet.

Biggish beige head. Clear brown body with light carbonation.
Roasty earthy funky aroma with buttery spicy notes. Dry-sweet
roasty earthy metallic taste with licorice notes. Mid-bodied.
Fizzy, confused mouthfeel. Dryish earthy burnt licorice
aftertaste with peppery roasty notes. It’s decent, but too
earthy, funky, and confused to be described as a success. (0.33l

Man ska inte döma ett öl efter skumkronan eller vätskans pigment. Slottskällans Zeven ser ut som en klassisk skönhet, med flödande behag och yppiga lockelser. Men det är utsidan. På insidan är det så bedagat det någonsin kan vara. Här finns inte ens en bitter eftersmak av ett väl utfört lurendrejeri. Bara ekot av den sista kolsyrebubblans sista suck.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Dark brown. Strong (7 %). Medium sweet, lightly bitter, a bit yeast.

Bottle. Hazy dark brown liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of white pepper, bubblegum, roasted malt, banana, light sulphur and floral hops. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of grain, roasted malt, white pepper and banana. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice but a bit of a mess.

Purs hazy brown with large tanned head. Aroma of yeast, caramel and a bit of chocolate. Taste is fizzy, roasty, a bit sour, yeast, with a dry finish.

Spicy, lightly roasted aroma, chocolate, ashes, caramel, malt, burnt rubber (!).
Off-dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2.
