3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 mzaar (892) - Varberg, SWEDEN - OCT 4, 2012

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 pilsnerrogge (2274) - Finspång, SWEDEN - SEP 15, 2012
Bottled: Pours dark brown with a rich head. Yeasty aroma with spicy and sourish notes. Flavour is yeasty, sourish and earthy with some vague spicy notes. Alcohol bitter finish. Saisons are supposed to be refreshing, but this one feels too heavy and is not something I would drink on a hot summer day.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Jonte (1334) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - SEP 14, 2012
Bottle. Brown colour with a beige head. Spicy and sour aroma with notes of licorice and caramel. The flavor is yeasty and spicy, lightly sour, almonds, some citrus, light caramel, lightly roasted. Light body. High carbonation. Not a big fan of this beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 finol (1694) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 5, 2012
Bottle from Systembolaget.
Pours brown and slightly see through, like coffee. Light tan head.
Funky hoppy aroma with some orange cest.
Odd but good taste, like a blend of a saison and a hoppy brown ale.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 daje (1291) - NORWAY - SEP 4, 2012
Bottle at Grünerløkka Brygghus. A black saison, huh? Not a bad idea. Though it’s not black, more dark red, clear, with a light brown head. Aroma of pepper, citrus and toast. Taste is fruity, citric/flowery, with wood, grapes and pepper. Bittersweet grapy finish. Lacking a little saison yeast punch imo.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 oh6gdx (18576) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 30, 2012
Bottled (thanks omhper!). Very deep ambery brown, close to black. Small beige bubbly/foamy head. Aroma is liquorice, raisins, ripe fruits and some mild farmyard along with some spices. Flavour is spices, earth, some mild farmyard and funky yeast. Rather big floral notes too. Ends very earthy. A bit thin in the palate for being 7 %. Pleasant as such, but seems like this is a rather alternative Saison...
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Migmar (66) - Hohhot, CHINA - AUG 26, 2012
Brown colour, foamy head. Taste is fruity, hints of raisin, woody. Palate is quite fizzy, long bitterish aftertaste. Nice and original but not too spectacular.Tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki.
