Pours brown with medium off white head
Aromas of bready malts, hints of sour tones, fudge
Sweet ending, low bitterness, woody farmhouse ale like taste, a bit watery but overall quite good.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 LoFi (1345) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 22, 2012
Bottle.
Very dark reddish brown with a beige head that disappears quickly.
Aroma: sour and vinous dominates but gives way to yeast and spices.
Taste: yeasty and spicy, sour, chocolate, light licorice, lactic, dried grass/hay.
Medium-bodied, high and prickly carbonation.
Didn’t enjoy this so much - fresh and drinkable according to the label, but at least not this bottle.

Got one from tap and was srprized to see the dark brown and clowdy liquid. Its quite carbonated and has a decent malty taste with a light hop finish. Came back the other day to have one more glass of it.

Draught @ Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, Helsinki
Pours murky brown with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of toasted malts, bread, spices and hints of earthy notes. Taste is malty and slightly sweet with some spices and cellary notes. Finish is slightly fruity and sticky sweet. Unbalanced and a bit messy.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 hirigalzkar (1822) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 5, 2012
Bottle. Pours greyish brown with a large but short lasting off white head. Typical saison notes like clove and berry seeds in the aroma. There is also some chocolate there. Not as fresh as saisons use to be. The taste has a lot of chocolate in it. In fact, this saison is a lot more choclaty than the Fantome Chocolat. The berry seeds are there in the taste aswell. It’s a big bodied (for the style) and smooth beer. Dry chocoalte notes in the aftertaste. Overall: Interesting and fun beer to try. I liked the heavy chocolate notes better in the aroma than the taste. A bit too heavy for my taste. I would have liked it a bit more flowery and crisp (and maybe a bit lighter on the ABV).
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dermi (464) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 4, 2012
Pub, Kuikka. Pours cloudy brown with a decent beige head. Aroma: Semi-roasted malt, berries, earth. Taste: Moderately sweet yet mild due to bitterness and acidic component. Palate: Medium body, sensible carbonation. Pretty good and twisted.
