COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Monkey’s Fist Mango IPA is the first IPA we’ve made, and it was so popular after the first brew that we’ve added it to our core production schedule. The beer combines five different types of malts to give the beer a sweeter malt flavor. Two types of hops were used to add the slightest taste of bitterness, and copious amounts of Citra hops provide the mango nose on the beer. This beer is continuously hopped to bring out extra flavor from the hops, and later dry hopped to produce the fruity nose.

good ipa with slight aroma of mango. mouth feel easy so they go down quick. fresh tasting. no additives

This was a very light IPA. I thought it was the lightest of all the Slow Boat beers that I had. That being said, it was a really nice day out and such a relief to be able to drink a really refreshing IPA instead of a wheat or some other traditionally light beer. So refreshing. Without the heaviness of some IPAs, this was a really great summer IPA.

The mango complements the beer well...I don’t like fruity beers. For an IPA it seemed under-hopped. It was a very smooth drinking beer that easily complements a meal or can be enjoyed on it’s own.
