COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A refreshingly tart and crisp hefeweizen brewed with local MA wildflower honey, orange peel and coriander, and fermented with the juice from over 1,000 blood oranges. Itís a cloudy, yet effervescent beer, with lingering banana and citrus notes balanced against a healthy wheat backbone and hoppy finish from Mt. Hood and Crystal hops.

Refrigerated brown bomber from Red, White, and Bleu, bottled on date September 18, 2012, poured into a weizen glass. Pours translucent orange with small dense white head. Aroma is light orange, medium body, medium carbonation, and big bubble lacing. Taste is orange, honey, some coriander, and some cardboard. Pretty good, would like to try this again when fresh. Should have checked the date before the purchase.

Bottle big thanks to my friend TY for bringing this by as a birthday gift! Pour has a rich golden color with a thick two finger off white head that just would not stop. Aroma has malts, light grains, and spice. Mouth feel is light and the carbonation medium low. Flavor has wheat, grains, light spice, and some orange pulp on the finish.

Orange clear pour from 22oz bottle. Tastes like orange peel and candy. Kind of a fruit pile.

Pours out an appealing hazy orange with a slight pink tinge. Less of a head that you usually get with a wheat beer. The aroma is fairly bland with just little hints of spice. The flavor is much more interesting, yeasty banana, wheat tang, and some strong orange/fruit flavors. Smooth and with an Orangina-like aftertaste. Somewhat stronger of an alcohol profile than Iíd desire in a hefeweizen. Overall a decent beer, Iíd consider this a tastier alternative to a radler on a hot day.

Reviewed from notes. Consumed 05/06/13. The appearance is a hazy golden orange body with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dies. Carbonation is still seen rising. The smell has the esters/"banana" yeastiness up front, light coriander all balanced pretty well, light citrus as it continues to warm. The taste is sweet yet light spiciness through all previously mentioned flavors. Light wheat bite at the end leading into the aftertaste, dry finish. The palate is light, sessionable, and has a moderate carbonation seems to be right now for the style. Overall, well at the moment, Iím not a true fan of weizens, but I think I found another winner for the style at least for me as I would have this again.

Bottle. Pours orange with white head. Aroma is yeasty, citrusy. Taste is mildly tart, refreshing. Taste is not much like a hefe, only resemblance is the slight yeast in the aroma. Very drinkable thought.

From a trade. Orange with large white head. Light lacing. Nose of citrus, most oranges. Light to medium body. Earth and sourness appear in flavor. Very un-hefe. Despite this it is drinkable. Just odd.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 11/8/13

Aroma: The nose is rather sweet, lot of honey, some orange, spice, and wheat
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color with a thick froth of white head
Flavor: The taste is sweet as well, with lots of honey and coriander flavors on a wheat base
Palate: The body is medium, it gets a little sticky, and it finishes tingly on the tongue
Overall Impression: I found this one to be a little too sweet for my palate, though it certainly isnít a bad beer. Still though, I canít really imagine rushing out for one of these again.
