On tap at the Royersford locatoin. Poured a dark and hazy purple color with the same colored head. Aromas of, drum roll please, raspberries. The raspberry taste was less intense in the flavor and some wheat came out in the tastes as well. Lighter tart finish. Alcohol content hidden. I enjoyed this one.

Deep red-purple colour with a bright red head. Great blackberry aroma, sweet fruity with a touch of peppery character in the back. Flavour is also quite fruity with peppery/wheaty notes. Lacks a lot of the acidity that I feel a beer like this needs to brighten up the flavour. Not bad, but could be better.

Bottle thanks to nellie via bu11zeye. Pours with a hazy amber body with an off-white head that slowly fades. Aroma is raspberry cordial. [period]. Boozy fruit notes, pretty sweet. Raspberry syrup. Very fizzy and very thin right off the bat. Has the mouthfeel of a soda. Flavors are raspberries, medium to sweet, light tartness. Finishes a bit yeasty. Nothing offensive here. Just raspberry syrup and soda water. Alcohol is well hidden though.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 CaptainCougar (7093) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAY 5, 2007
Pours a murky dark mahogany ruby with a spotty, light pink head. Aroma has a big, fresh fruity raspberry character. Body starts a little thinner with an authentic, fresh ripe raspberry flavor and a touch of pale malt toward a drier finish with airy carbonation. An interesting raspberry beer, but a little thin.
3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Sammy (7040) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 22, 2007
Thanks Dr.Jay, surprisingly good. Think raspberry black tea, not raspberry jelly. Dark raspberry colour with pink head, bit of lace. Aroma, well raspberry. There is bitterness behind the taste, medium mouthfeel.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 3fourths (6954) - Straßgiech, Bavaria, GERMANY - MAR 2, 2008
Dark purple and pink colored body. Nose is a mixture of sweet and musty/drier berries, wood, starches, etc - it smells quite nice. Flavorwise, though, it’s a different story. Candy sweet, plasticy, medicinal even, with a twang that’s hard to overcome. Body is thinner than it needs to be, and the finish is a bit sour, doesn’t really taste right. Smells good, that’s the one positive thing about this beer.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2006 Nice raspberry aroma. Tastes like raspberry, with some citrus, yeast, and hops at the finish. Nice style, but beware that this one is not very tart like the New Glarus offerings. Rather, it has a more subtle taste, more like fresh raspberries.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ughsmash (6670) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 7, 2010
750mL bottle. Poured clear, rich purply-brown with a fizzy, shortly-retained tan head. The aroma picked up black raspberry seeds and meat paired with some lemony tartness.. almost artificial sugars backing it up, but it was still solid. The flavor found dry, semi-sweet raspberries at the core, with raspberry seed and wheaty tartness surrounding.. rather metallic on the finish with more fruit and bready malts.. very odd twang stuck at the end. Dry on the palate with sharp, prickly carbonation that clashed a little with the fruity tartness.. didn’t feel good, but didn’t really feel bad either.. meh.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jercraigs (6477) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 8, 2007
Bottle. Deep pink/purple body, with a fluffy pink head. (3+) Big but diffuse raspberry aroma, tiny note of raspberry seeds. Flavour is dominated by lightly tart raspberry and not much else. Muted malt flavour is overshadowed by raspberry, which is pleasant enough but lacks the depth or complexity to take it from a amiable quaff to a more interesting sipper. 6+/3+/6/3/12-13

Bottle from Doclock. Pours red with a pink head. Smells metallic with some pronounced raspberry notes. Taste is crisp and dry with raspberries there but not overwhelming you. Some hoppiness present as well. Very drinkable and enjoyable.
