An unforgettable wheat ale brewed with German Pils and Wheat malts and Tradition hops, with 1 lb. of red and black raspberries per gallon of beer. This beer features a tart finish and a sugary sorbet aroma.

Looks like an Americanized lambic. Black raspberry currant mouth feel. Little to no aftertaste. Very smooth. Rated 4/13/10

Excellent nose, lots of fruity rasberry aromas, almost purple in color, decent lacy head, lots of fruity & berry flavors, rasberries all over the place, not a whole lot of wheat beer characterists, definitely more of a fruit beer, but very very good

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2007 Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this beer poured a vibrant raspberry color with a huge pink head. The aroma was sweet and tangy berry with a light but noticeable "beer" malt undertone. The flavor was very tart and tangy with a crisp raspberry element and a light malty undertone. There is a tart berry finish. The alcohol is completely hidden. Fabulous.

Bomber with spookgolds. Ruby brown pour. Raspberry aroma is so strong you can taste it. Tart raspberry, some caramel malt. Sweet, mildly malty. It’s exactly as advertised.... The perfect relaxing, fruity summer brew. Not everything is a stout ! Love it. Could drink a hundred of these on a warm day.

Wow, a great dark red color, almost looks like a wine. Great smell, fruity smell of raspberries...duh! Alcohol is masked well, taste of an explosion of fruit. A really good fruit beer.

Bottle: Poured a reddish strawberry color with a thin pink head. The aroma was that of raspberries. The flavor was fruity with raspberries and very refreshing. This beer makes a great dessert beer. Easily my favorite fruit beer.

Tastes like black raspberries. A lot of the original sugars are gone, which gives this a deep fruit taste which doesn’t cling with too much sweetness.

Bottle, caged and corked. Full disclosure, I may be positively tilted towards good raspberry beers ... But from the first whiff of this I’m sold. Solid, fresh berry fields, with a hint of yeast. This is full bodied, perhaps in the minds of some too full-bodied to carry the berry character ... but still a pleasant, rollicking beer IMHO ... an interesting Germanic, wheaty twist is underneath ... good stuff. Draught @ Pheonixville: Huge tart raspberry nose. Dark purpule color. Opaque. Tasted sweet and of raspberries, but not overly so. Easy to drink. Perhaps the best fruit beer I have ever had, even if it is a ’wheat.’

Tap. Okay, let me start out by saying that I do not like wheat beers, nor do I like fruity beers. However, this beer is wonderful. It’s full of flavor that isn’t too sweet, but very drinkable, and you can’t even taste the alcohol. The appearance is beautiful--a dark, ruby red. I even poured a 5 ouncer into my O-Reilly’s Stout--that’s how well I think of it. Yum.
