Pours a foggy amber with a creme head. Nose is earthy hops. Flavor is robust and consistent leafy and salty hops. Minor bitter and sweet tang hits you on the back side. Smooth liquid and carbonation. Nice to drink. A bit too salty, IMO, but still a good production.

Cascade hops but more so. Citrus and pine aroma, light floral notes. Pretty bitter, finishes like taking a bite of grapefruit

Hand-bottled by TomDecapolis. Thanks! Pours clear warm amber with a lacy white head. Sweet nose of fruit, pine resin, citrus and toffee. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Toffee-sweetened taste with light notes of citrus. Bitter-dry finish.

12-oz., handbottle. Thanks, Bitbucket! Pours crystal clear medium amber with gold overtones. Dense moussy off-white head that falls quickly away leaving very little lace. Huge piney nose--first thing you think of is a Christmas tree. Nice medium body with sharp tingly carb. Itís actually a bit raw. Harshly bitter in a bracing, spectacularly delicious way from the mid-palate through the finish. Yum.

On tap at the 2007 Sly Fox IPA Project Day...Appears a transparent orange toned amber with a small white head that slowly fades out into a mild cap. Small streaks of lacing are left around the glass. Mild streams of CO2 slowly rise to the top. Smell is citrusy, herbal, floral, mostly clean with notes of caramel. Taste is of the mentioned aromas but stepped down slightly with a very mild citrusy flavor. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, herbal, citrusy, and mildly astringent.

on tap at the Hop Devil Grill. Almost clear light amber in color. Aroma is floral and citrus with a touch of malt in the background. Taste seems more floral than citrus to me with a strong bitterness throughout. Although the bittering was still there, some of the aroma and taste seemed to have subside quite a bit. ok but needed more aroma and citrus flavor.

Draft @ Phoenixville - Hazy amber color with a medium head. Aroma is a nice, subtle grassy-citrus that smells like youíre relaxing in a nice field - also some light caramel-bready malts in there. Flavor is a nice citrusy, grassy hop bouquet with a smooth, tasty, but not overpowering malt taste. Really tasty - just had a Founders Centennial IPA yesterday and found this one to be equally good. Best IPA project beer Iíve tried yet, but Iíve never had the elusive Simcoe.............

On tap at Sly Fox in Royersford...take this baby out of retirement! Pours a lightly hazy golden orange/amber with a medium bubbly/creamy off white head that left nice lacing. Aroma of orange, pine, grapefruit, some floral notes and caramel. Flavor of orange zest, pine and grapefruit. Very nice chewy hop flavor with a great caramel lightly toasted and nutty malt balance. Nice lingering hop bitterness. This has become my favorite American hop even in my own home brews...Sly Foxfeatures it nicely here.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2007 Poured a hazy copper color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma was sweet and malty, caramel and butterscotch, with light citrus hops as well. Taste seems to have lost all its fresh hoppy dominance, it is now balanced between bitter grapefruit hops, and sweet and strong malts. Very full bodied.
