Pours brown with a tan head which quick dissipates. Smell subtle with some roasted malts and floral notes. Taste is sweet and malty with caramel, a little toffee and little toast. Med-light body, water texture with a sticky after tastes. After taste is sweet and thin. Not too much going on in this beer, but it is not bad.

Canned. Pours on the lighter side of brown. Mild caramel notes but overall kind of a watery and characterless dunkel.

Can. Pours a deep, clear amber with a finger and a half of head, decent lacing, and very little carbonation. Smells of caramel and bread.. pretty strong aroma in all honesty. Taste is pretty strong.. some sweetness and some funky notes. Palate is very full for 5.3%. Overall very enjoyable.

Can. Pours dark brown with off white head. Nose of roasted malts, roasted barley and grain. Taste is same - dry malt finish. Clean. Medium body.

A nice dunkel with a good bread, nut and banana flavor and a hint of honey.

great traditional dunkel. fresh is the only way to have this. slighty creamy, banana-like, toasty flavor, mild hop bitterness along the sides of the tongue. classic dunkel lager.

Wow this is one tasty beer! I was shocked at first sip. Aroma was nice. Bread and roasted malt fill the nose. Pour was a nice dark brown with a one finger near tan head. Taste was just big and full. The bread and roasted malt were very big but not sweet. Just full. A little toast and caramel flavors come out in the aftertaste. Slightly toffee like as it warms. Nice carbonation. Great beer.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear copper color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity crisp malty grainy flavor with hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel finish.

Canned. Crisp but rather malty flavor that holds a hint of hoppy bitterness. Deep flavor, somewhat nutty.
