DocLock (4170), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 25, 2005 Pours deep gold with big white head. Aroma of malt, fruit, hopcit. Tastes hoppy, with citrus and some floral and fruit elements. Layers of complexity in this. Bravo. jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jul 13, 2007 Helles Bock ‘06–on tap-pours a big foamy white head and pale yellow color. Aroma is faint sweet. Taste is faint sweet malt, grassy hops. Mild carbonation. JoeMcPhee (3807), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Jun 15, 2008 Tap at Ginger Man. Very pale straw colour. Creamy white head. The aroma is fresh and clean with little more than the base malt apparent. Light grainy flavour with a kiss of floral hops. It’s a bit cidery tasting too, which I don’t really enjoy. Pretty boring really... they can definitely do better. egajdzis (3014), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 1, 2005 Poured a deep bronze color with a small, off white head that left very little lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel and doughy malt, wintergreen. Biscuity taste, more caramel malt, grassy hops, very fruity, with a bitter citrus finish. Light alcohol was noticed as well.
