Bronze with steadily rising carbonation topped by a ring of foam. Some sweet malt aroma notes and dankness of lager hops. Mildly sweet and lightly bitter on the palate with a slight cardboard finish.

From tap poured a clear golden with a good amount of head. Nice flavor a little bitter with a good finish.

Tap. Golden body, white head, spicy nose with malt accent. Malty, lightly spicy hops, refreshing. As with all light lagers, this is underrated at this site.

Tap @ Sly Fox. Poured a clear light golden color. The aroma was malty with cereal notes and some fruit mixed in. The malty flavor was grainy as well. Light bitter finish.

July 2005 - Light color, almost clear with little head and lacing. Taste is sweet and lemony with a creamy mouthfeel. It looks like a macro, but has pretty good taste. A nice mild offering.

This was alright, but I just don’t think I’m a real fan of the helles styles. Beer had a slightly malty aroma with some cereal type notes. golden in color with a moderate carbonation and firm white head. flavor was matly and pretty dry, but nothing to really brag about. medium bodied lager. meh

On tap at The Great American Pub and Diner. The appearance is...well...golden. Haha. Pours a nice white foamy head. It has a hoppy smell for a lager. The taste of hops is present. I think I taste some lemony sorta. Not a bad lager.

Re-rate. Clear, sudsy, white head on a dull straw body. Aroma of doughy pils malt with citric tones, light grass and a corny element. Flavor is lightly sweet with fair malt character, a very light hop profile and low bitterness. A minimal lager, even as a helles. Fails to sing like some beers in this style do.

Draught at Brazen Head. Gold color with a thin white head and fine bubbles. Pleasing floral and lemony nose. Pils like flavor--light cereal malt, some fresh hay/grass and crisp lemony Saaz hops. Dry slighty hoppy finish. Slighty fizzy. Refreshing and clean, but not otherwise that exciting.
