Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 10, 2007 Draft at the Phoenixville location, July 2006. A yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with a very fresh, but light hoppy note, as well as a light malty note. The flavor is sweet with a light grassy note, my guess is Halletaur hops, on a crisp malty background, but also with a slight floral note, before a nice bitter finish sets in. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 07/25/2007

argo0 (6144), Washington DC, USA Jul 5, 2004 Clear straw body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, mild grassy. Taste is medium sweet, grassy, lemon, light herbal. Light body. Nice beer, very drinkable but still has a nice bite. Rastacouere (5258), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 19, 2005 Clear straw pour, the covering head is small and swiftly fading. Surprisingly light nose with restrained honeyish and bready pils malts that don’t make any effort to take their due place. Floral and grassy hops play their support role more than adequately, but they ultimately get lost in the task, having not much to support at all. A bit overly clean and simplistic in that regard, without the biscuitiness I always look forward to in a helles. Light bodied, watery texture, slow-witted carbonation, low bitterness. Passable. hopdog (4524), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 19, 2004 On tap at the Sly Fox in Royersford. OK, Helles are not one of my favorite styles. Poured a light, clear yellow with no head. Malts and hops present in the aromas and tastes. Light and easy to drink.
