Pours a large, rocky, off-white head that is lasting and exhibits fair lacing atop a clear, yellow body.. The aroma is of molasses and grain with some peach and pineapples tones. The body is medium, the texture is slick and alcoholic with lively carbonation to boot. The flavor’s duration is average, moderately sweet, and lightly acidic and bitter. An OK beer, but not a stellar one, but I wouldn’t kick it outta bed....unless...

750ml bottle-pours rich retaining off white head and gold color. Aroma is medium/light malt-husky, caramel, hay/floral/earthy, light fruit-apricot. Taste follows with some sweetness but the medicinal/metallic/herbal/pepper overpower and detract from a nice nose. OK carbonation. Occasional. 3.0 OK at cellar temperature, mellows nicely. The medicinal disappears and the metallic and herbal aren’t dominant. The sweet malt comes out a bit more as does a bit of alcohol. Occasional.

Golden colour with big bubbles. Spicy, alcoholic, phenolic nose. Quite sweet - boooo! - with lots of apple, pear, phenol and plastic. Not terribly clean and tough to drink in any quantity.

Pours a cloudy amber copper color with a tall soapy white head. Sweet aroma of honey, fruit, and a hint of yeast. Excellent lacing. Taste of malts, sugar, and fruit. A little fizz... very nice.

It’s been a while since I tried one of these sly fox 750’s - fizzy, clear golden beer - minimal head - aroma of spicy herbs, honey, wildflowers, orange - fairly soft and creamy in the mouth - very honey sweet up front, which mellows a bit as a strong herbal and floral character develops, followed by highly apparent alcohol, which adds a nice warming effect to the spices, but starts to become a little astringent after a while - honey sweetness re-asserts itself, as a brisk, tea-like flavor manifests near the end (strange) - interesting, but too sweet, and a little boozy - if they shot for a lower abv and dried this thing out, it would be damn good.

Bottle shared with GregClow, Hogtown Harry, Jerc, and Blankboy, courtesy of blankboy. Yeasty, floral, sugar sweet aroma - nice. Orange pour, decent sized white head. Taste is excellent - lots of alcohol at first, tons of fruit follows, leaving a really interesting floral aftertaste. A really solid triple, never mind the fact that it is an American made Triple - this could stand up to the big boys. Complex and falvourful, nice job Sky Fox.
