UPDATED: OCT 19, 2008 Poured a deep amber color with no head or lacing. Aroma of flowery hops, grassy, and light malt aroma. Amazing balance here, perfect for a bitter. Juicy hops, spicy and sweet malts. I could drink this all night, I bet this is AMAZING on cask!

Poured a golden brown with a nice head and nice lacing. Malty taste with sweet caramelly backbone ending with a surprisingly hoppy finish...much hoppier than other ESBís Iíve had. It almost tasted like a hoppier than normal English Pale Ale more than an ESB. Very good and well balanced brew!

Copper body topped by a fine particled off-white head. Quite the sight in the glass. Light caramel and bread offset by a big dose of EKG. Very nice flavors, EKG and caramel/bready malts, very quenching and one df the better American examples of the style I have had. Medium crisp body. Another winner from these guys.

Attractive bronze appearance with a doughy aroma. Strong, roasted malt flavors effectively balanced with a prominent bitterness and a fairly high abv. Mildly carbonated with a dry, nicely hopped finish.

Root beer color with a mild caramel aroma. Smooth foaming head. Burnt caramel taste with a lively mouthfeel. Would be much better in cask, but good none the less.

3/2/13 - 10 oz draft at Champs, Altoona. Pours clear, brown/red with an off white, thin head. Mild notes of caramel and toffeee with some early hop notes. Lots of caramel and biscuit, bread and some toffee, rather bitter with it lingereing well into the after. Earthy, grassy hop notes present. Not bad. Big mouth feel. nice fruit character when warmed up.

Gold brown color, smells sweet and fruity like a good honeysuckle melon and some sweet dough biscuits. Raisins too. Taste: Tea, coffee, raisins, hops. Good balance. Pretty good!
