Hand Pump at the Phoenixville BrewPub: Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, light hops, and barley. Poured very deep amber/brown in color with a large, loose, brown/tan head that lasted throughout. Hazy. Not sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of roasted malt, light chocolate, slight fruit, and barley. Medium body. Slick, then dry texture. Hand-pump carbonation. Roasted malt, chocolate, and barley finish is dry.

[Cask @ Phoenixville] Dark brown mahogany color with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of nuts, caramel, roast, cocoa, and burnt toast. Taste was sweeter chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla, and a toasty finish.
