Growler at RBSG 2005. An amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of caramel and some fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of elderberries, bubblegum, caramel, and some grapefruit.

On tap at the Royersford location. Pours a translucent reddish, orange, amber with an average off white creamy sustaining and lacing head. Aroma on the lighter side, earthy, lightly floral, some citrus. Flavor is woodsy at first, some oak, then some roasted malts, a bitter bite, pine, and light citrus with a dry finish. Not sure the Northdown is one of my favorite hops by itself but I can see how it could be used with others to make a great beer.

Not one of my favorites of the IPA project series. Has a grassy, woodsy and herbal aroma with some floral hints. Flavor is somewhat hoppy - lettign lots of the malt to come through. FInish is not bitter at all. Pretty nice hop overall but not really fitting to the IPA style.

0.09.05 Growler, RBSG. Pale copper, hardly any head. Aroma is ’beery’ with some pepper, some dirt, some citrus if I really focus. Dry, grainy, and astringent, some mineral, strong snap.
