Draught. Roasted malt taste accompanies the standard of a dark stout with a tan head. Seems finished well however -- leaving little hint of residual sugars. Hoppy tingle. Hints of walnuts or nuts more than coffee or chocolate.

On tap at brewery. Poured a deep brown color with a light off white head. The smell was on the lighter side with notes of roasted coffee and cocoa. Flavors are soft chocolate and mild coffee with some bitter pine hops in the finish. Smooth, full, and creamy with a lingering bitterness.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a dark brown with a nice tan head. Aroma not really distinct but caught hints of coffee. Taste nice chocolate undertones, taste not really a selling point but above average for a stout. Somewhat light for my taste, but a passable beer.
