COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Odyssey is an Imperial, or Double, IPA brewed with an assortment of hop varieties, and lots of them! Near orange in color, Odyssey is medium-bodied and (obviously) hoppy, with pleasant alcohol hints in the nose and finish.

bottle from cotteridge wines. not a teribbly exciting DIPA. Deep orange in colour, with a light citrus hop nose. Taste is pithy orange and slight hint of grapefruit. Fairly high bitterness almost astrigent. it was ok.

Can: Papaya, tea, and dried leaves nose. Hazy amber, thick sticky head. Dried leaves, corn, orange peel flavor. Orange peel finish. Good complexity, disorganized. Biting bitterness, medium body, alcohol not very evident.

Aromas of citrusy hops, lemon candy, sweet bready malt. Clear, burnt orange, somewhat lasting white head. Dry, bitter but balanced by malt sweetness. Medium bodied.

Can in a pint glass. Dull orange and light brown aroma is pine and maple syrup. The taste is all resinous pine and heavy on the caramel malt. Sticky palate with perfect hop bitterness. Very good but, I like the 2013 version better than 2014. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml can. Pours almost orange with some particles suspended. Slightly off white head. Strong bouquet of fruity hops backed by some sweet malts with light detectable alcohol. Great hoppy taste, some caramel sweetness, long bitter aftertaste.

12 oz. can. Pours a dark orange color with thick off white head. Nose is strong pine and malt; flavor follows, mostly hop predominant, with a dry sweet finish and medium mouthfeel. Probably the best beer I got to try in Philly.

Can - Golden color medium head. Blam! huge amounts of hops, lingers on the palate, bitter. Little to strong of a flavor for my tastes.

The color of copper. Light beige head. Aroma is floral and piney hops. Spicy, malty, citrusy. Syrupy. A bit heavy, even for a double IPA.

Fruity, slightly sweet aroma but bitterness is dominant with citrus-like hoppy fragrance. Flavour opens with yeasty notes, a bit cookie and grain-like flavour but then a very intense, very straightforward bitterness rolls over the tongue leaving a refreshing but a bit dry aftertaste. This appears like a more bitter impression on the taste buds but the yeasty/malty opening balances it nicely.

12 ounce can. Bright orange color. Big foamy beige head. Fruity, spicy hop aroma. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor with peppery notes. Delicious caramel malt flavor balanced by a huge dose of complex hops. Finish is dry and bitter.

Poured gold with a big, white, foamy head. Floral and grassy aroma. Taste is grass and grapefruit with a bitterness that lingered in a somewhat unpleasant way.
