corby112 (267), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA May 9, 2008 Pours a clear amber color with thick white head. Aroma dominated by hops. Well balance with a nice touch of maltiness and alcohol balancing the huge hops flavor.
blutt59 (519), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 26, 2008 bottle, grapefruit orange color with a hoppy citrus nose and taste, a little pine and hops on the finish blipp (599), Grand Island, New York, USA Jul 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear orange with an off white head. Lightly sweet aroma, with floral hop and caramel notes. Medium body. Grassy and floral flavor with caramel and peach. Nothing special. rocbyter (594), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA Jul 17, 2008 Burnt hop aroma. Clear orange color with a large almond head. Light malt beginning with a slight amount of alcohol finish is strong bitterness. Light palate for the alcohol. IMtheOptimator (1100), Bethel, Connecticut, USA Jun 23, 2008 Poured a clear amber with a large fizzy/frothy off-white head. Crisp aroma of pine and citrusy hops, a touch of alcohol. Flavor comes off predominantly bitter with pine and earthy grass flavors, some light grapefruit rind, and a slight metallic soapiness which takes away a bit from the experience. Not a whole lot of density or sweetness or viscosity to the body, which leaves it coming off a bit like a stronger regular IPA. Decent enough and reasonably drinkable, but I won’t see a lot of need to have this one again. tomthompson89 (1051), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 8, 2008 nice orange amber color, decent frothy head, nose is citrus and pine hops, some sweeter malt in there too i think. really bitter hops, seems english style hops to mehops r almost overpowering. ok but not my favorite style of hops whatever it is and lacks balance.
