Pours clear amber-orange with a one finger white head which fades to pretty nice, soapy lacing. Aroma is of toasted malts, bready malts, grassy hops, sweet caramel malts, light spicy hops, and some light toffee. Taste is toasted bready malts, sweet malts, grassy and spicy hops, black pepper, caramel, and toffee. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a slightly bitter, medium finish. Overall, a decently tasty Oktoberfest, that is pretty easy drinking.

Appearance: amber gold, clear, and with a finger of near white head and decent retention. Aroma: grainy, with lightly toasted brown bread, some grassy notes, and a bit of cardboard. Taste: toasted grains, light grass, slightly floral, a bit of pepper. Notes: crisp and mostly clean, with a bit of lingering grassy hops; palate is pitch perfect. Notes: Not a bad Okto, would drink again. 12 oz can from Total Wine in McLean, VA.

12 oz can from Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh. Disappointing on taste and body. Didn’t seem to capture the German taste or spirit.

Similar to a lot of OKtoberfests, don’t have really anything to say wrong with it. Drinkable but not too exciting.

12 Fl. Oz. Can. Poured clear, copper, with a small off white fizzy head that left rather quickly. Aroma is a it weak, fruit, a bit of malts and some grain. Taste is malty and sweet, with some hoppy notes that give it a light bitter finish. Drinkable, and enjoyable, in my honest opinion not bad at all.

Mossy honey nose. Clear amber, medium cream colored head. Mild dried leaves, macroish. Light bodied and boring.

Transfer from BA review on 9-21-13- Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance – The beer is served an orange amber color with a small fizzy white head. The head fades rather quickly leaving just a tiny level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is rather light overall consisting of a bit of a ready and lightly roasted smell. Along with these aromas are some light notes of light fruit and some herbal hop and spice. Taste – The taste begins with a biscuit and bready malt flavor with a hint of roast and a moderately strong caramel sweetness. The caramel takes on more notes of a brown sugar sweetness as the favor advances with the roast getting slightly stronger as well. In the end a little bit of a spice flavor of cinnamon and nutmeg as well as a bit of a citrus hop come to the tongue in the end leaving a lightly roasted and malty flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average in terms of its thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is average as well. Both are nice for the easy drinking and lightly roasted tastes of the brew. Overall – A nice Oktoberfest that is on the slightly drier and lightly roasted side. While not spectacular it is a rather nice drink.

Poured from a can from total wine and more in mclean va it is a clear golden color with no head. The aroma is not noteworthy. The taste is a caramel with a bitter resonance that lingers on the palate
