About as similar to Guinness as I have found. It does not have as "heavy" or thick as I would like. Kind if reminds me of a dark Guinness Light.

On Tap @ Pinebox Rockshop - Brooklyn - Pours a watery dark black with a hint of reddish hue and light beige head. Aromas faint, mostly malt. Flavor is sweet maltiness with roasted barley, chocolate, some hops, hints of cofee and cream. Lingering bitter malt finish. Best enjoyed while detailing the your strategy for war if you were suddenly nominated to 4-Star General in the event of a WWIII deployment!

Pint on tap. Nearly opaque mahogany with a lasting nitro-infused head. Faint aroma of char and dark roasted coffee. Tastes of espresso with a dab of caramel. Finish is char, toasted bitter nut, dry cocoa, and a hint of mint. Near-medium body seems watery at first, but gets a bit sturdier at the finish. Well balanced and has medium-high but smooth carbonation.

Palme (2993) - Bergen, NORWAY - SEP 6, 2013
On tap @ Blind Tiger House. A really crazy nitro head on this one and the beer itself is deep dark as good as black in the glass. Not to much on the nose at first. After a while in the glass I get soft chocolate, some nuts and a little bit of ice cream. It’s really easy to drink this, and just as easy to like. Feels creamy (as expected) in the mouth and it has a soft carbonation level. Much the same nutty light roasted touch in the taste as it was in the aroma. Some chocolate and chocolate paper wraps this off. Really good for a lightweighter. 18.06.2013
