3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pint on tap. Nearly opaque mahogany with a lasting nitro-infused head. Faint aroma of char and dark roasted coffee. Tastes of espresso with a dab of caramel. Finish is char, toasted bitter nut, dry cocoa, and a hint of mint. Near-medium body seems watery at first, but gets a bit sturdier at the finish. Well balanced and has medium-high but smooth carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ Blind Tiger House. A really crazy nitro head on this one and the beer itself is deep dark as good as black in the glass. Not to much on the nose at first. After a while in the glass I get soft chocolate, some nuts and a little bit of ice cream. Itís really easy to drink this, and just as easy to like. Feels creamy (as expected) in the mouth and it has a soft carbonation level. Much the same nutty light roasted touch in the taste as it was in the aroma. Some chocolate and chocolate paper wraps this off. Really good for a lightweighter. 18.06.2013

Poured as part of a flight. Nice creamy head, smoky coffee on the nose, and a creamy mouthfeel. Bit overbalanced towards the coffee flavors, but pretty good.

NYC Trip Beer #6. In my notes I simply wrote "Guinness Redux." This isnít a bad thing, except that Guinness is cheap and ubiquitous. That about wraps it up. Draft - Pony Bar - New York, NY

Looks like guiness. Foamy, dry and light. A little harsher finish than a guiness. Very nice with the low abv and smoothness. Very sessionable, light body. Very rarely order a guiness, and I might actually order this one first. Well done. Should come in cans.
