COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A medium bodied red ale brewed for and poured at Reading’s annual Oysterfest. Nice malt flavor balanced perfectly by Willamette and Crystal hops for a wonderfully drinkable pint. 12.0 OG 28 IBUs 4.7% ABV

Draft at SFR. Pours deep coppery ruby with nose of caramel malt, hops, vinous fruit. Tastes hoppy, rich, with a good malty and somewhat vinous fruity flavor. A bit body-light, but drinkable.

Draught at the Pheonixville BrewPub: Aroma of malt, slight brown sugar, light hops, and bread. Poured deep amber in color with a small, tan head that lasted throughout as a film on top of the head as well as around the edges. Clear. Very slightly sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, bread, slight resin. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Slightly sweet, lightly bitter, malt, bread, and hop finish is lightly dry.

Sampled a pint of this at their P-ville location. Unfortunately, I wasn’t all that impressed with it. The beer poured a deep amber color with a fairly generous off-white head. The head left a good amount of lacing on the glass. The nose featured some malty and bready notes, along with a hint of dry and spicy hops. The body was medium and drinkable. The flavors were much like the aroma, with a bready and malty tone with some hint of dry and spicy hops. Unfortunately there just wasn’t enough there to completely enjoy this offering.
