biznizness (930), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Nov 1, 2009 The Loobys picked up a sixer of this for me for our visit this weekend. Great stuff. Love drinking Sly Fox when I’m in PA, since that is the only time I can get my hands on it. Bitzybrew (28), New York, New York, USA Oct 31, 2009 One of my favorite pale ales. Almost as hoppy as an IPA. Definitely reccomended for hop heads and those looking for a great pale ale. arrogantb (695), Denver, Colorado, USA Oct 9, 2009 This one smells metallic and I am not saying that because it came from a can. It smells like minerals and dirt. The flavor is metallic and dry. I wonder if I got a bad can? The appearance sure is deceiving, it is a nice cloudy orange. It did seem to have a lot of carbonation, overflowing the can when I opened it (no I didn’t shake it). This is one of the worst tasting beers I have ever had. This is going right down the drain. I will give this one another chance if I can.

Reviewed on: 05-24-2007 19:18:16 checkmatei1 (629), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 8, 2009 Draft: Poured an amber color with a nice white head. The aroma was sweet malt and hops. The flavor was citrus, hops, malts, and flowers. Overall, another quality brew from Sly Fox. blklab2007 (938), Connecticut, USA Oct 5, 2009 can poured an orange amber with a thin white head leaving a ring quickly. aroma has sweet malt, slight citrus, and caramel. thin mouth feel leads to malted flavors, medium light bitterness, and some earth. on the chewy malted bitter side as far as pale ales go. sloth (1658), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA Sep 22, 2009 Small tan head thats short lived with some stringy lace left behind. Clear copper amber color. Gentle nose of pine citrus and faint malts. Body is med/light with a nice co2 level, lightly oily. Laid back hops, more malt forward, caramel, light breadyness with a faint c-hop backing. An almost dry, earthy finish. Decent PA but it aint no SNPA or Dales. Props to coldbrewky for the can. riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Sep 17, 2009 Can from LilBeerDoctor. Thanks! Aroma of caramel, english malt, a little iced tea, and floral hops in the finish. Copper pour with a little chill haze and a thin foamy head that lasts for a while. Caramel and English malt, floral and peppery bitterness, and a hint of tea in the finish. Lingering floral hop flavors. Struck me as more of an English Pale Ale with american hops. Well done, gotta love tasty beer in a can. Solid session pale ale. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA Sep 16, 2009 12 oz can. Caramel with a light fruitiness and floral hops in aroma. Clear golden amber with small white head. Light caramel sweetness with a floral hops flavor to balance. Medium to light body and mouthfeel. Finish is dry clean and moderately bitter.
