Pours a clear, reddish orange color; fluffy white head with attractive lacing. Minerals, tea-like malts, and citrus hops in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel: lemon and grapefruit hops, chewy and dank; light maple syrup and wet malt backdrop. Medium, dry, citrusy finish. realale420 (399), west covina, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 26, 2007 12oz can (thanks to The Epeeist) poured a clear amber/orange color with a small quick fading head. Aromas of citrus hops along side some mild caramel malts. The taste was well balanced with a decent amount of hop bitterness and flavor. Not as good as the Dales Pale, but still cool to see craft brew in a can. holdenn (1454), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 18, 2007 12 oz can sampled from drewbeerme. Pours a glowing bright orange like frodos light of Galadriel, ok not quite that bright, but bright with a faint head that speckles down. Paper and citrus aromas, something is off here, cereal grains and paper... Watery flavors, (no really it tastes just like water at first) that fades to a citrus hop (or maybe the citrus hop fades into the water). It finishes with a bit of a citrus bite. Strange beer, i’m not sure why people like it. drewbeerme (2316), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 20, 2006 Pours with a golden-orange body topped by a thick, off-white head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly sweet yet bitter with a grassy, perfumy hop note. Very Flowery. Not to my taste. Medium bodied, smooth and a touch warming.
