Can at home. Pours clear copper with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is medium toast and grain malt, earthy and herbal hops with light apple esters. Flavor is medium earthy and spicy hops, medium bitterness, light grainy malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Currently drinking whilst typing. Aroma is of sweet caramel malts and floral, citrusy hops, slight honey too. Appears as a clear copper vessel with a fluffy off white head which has a solid retention. Taste is gentle yet flavoursome, with floral, bright and refreshing hops which combine perfectly with the caramel maltiness creating (for me) a perfect pale ale flavour; Suitable bitterness and clean finish too. Smooth and silky on the palate with medium body and a perfect carbonation. Overall; 'tis an outstanding pale ale with a session beer quality that for me makes this beer absolutely priceless. Fantastic stuff! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz can. The best looking pale ale that I have ever enjoyed. A wonderful orange/copper color with a wonderful creamy, foamy head. I noted some caramel and light fruitiness, some grapefruit -piney hoppyness. The Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and light fruitiness, Not quite as good as Dale’s Pale Ale, but just a half a step behind. I could drink this by the case.

Dull orange, hazy, thin white head; attractive tropical aroma of melon, peach; taste is orangey fruit, spice, bitterness, which descends into a short, somewhat harsh finish; an unremarkable pale ale.

Light cloudy amber with fluffy head and medium carbonation. Very low profile aroma, which is a shame because the peach and grapefruit that is present is mouth watering when paired with the hints of sweet resin and mild malt. A fairly light body allows the peach prominence come through in tasting, however bar from a small amount of resin and very light uninteresting malt character, there isn’t much else present. Semi-dry, light bitter finish.

Hazy amber. Foam white head which disappears. Its looks good on pour but doesn’t keep it all the way down. This theme runs into the aroma and flavours. Slight citrus notes in aroma, not strong. Sweet bubblegum nut bread nose. Flavour is sweet caramel, bread notes. Slight bitterness on finish. Not too dry. Medium carbonation which is refreshing. Its not bad but fades as warms and I wonder is it that fresh as aroma dissipates quickly to leave only malt aromas.

12oz can from Valhalla’s Goat. Hazy amber orange brown, big foamy head. Peach mango hop aroma. Metallic peach grain lemon flavour, bitter aftertaste. Reasonable canned pale ale.

Can from Bier Huis, Ossett. Same orange colour as the can. Finger thick, lasting, white head. Aroma is light caramel, light black currant. Taste is toffee sweetness initially, then a crisp dryness.

Can: Aromatic hop aroma of cascade with a light malty subtitle. Orange color, frothy white head. Flavor is light sweet, malty and fruity hoppy with citrus and light herbal notes. Pretty good.
