SB (287), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 12, 2006 From Can! My first ever craft beer in a can. I was skeptical because of the can, but turns out it’s not bad. Poured copper orange. Nice, velvety white head, with some lacing around the glass. Aroma piney and grapefruit, I could smell the hops. Flavor was nice, semi-sweet, grapefruit hints, grassy, piney, with subtile caramel notes in the end. Nice smooth to drink, medium bodied, flavors meshed very well. I was impressed. It is nice to see a good beer in a can, and nice to see Sly Fox in the Pgh area.
malrubius (417), USA Aug 18, 2008 12 ounce can in pint glass. Copper with lasting head and lace. Fresh hop and toasted malt aroma. Mild sweet fruitiness with medium hop flavor and light bitterness. Medium-light body and medium carbo. Lacking malt flavor but nice hop flavor. Pretty good. can8ianben (608), Pasadena, California, USA Aug 18, 2008 A tasty offering from Sly Fox. Crisp hop notes of cinnmon and grapefruit. Bright orange in color with a bubbly head. LilBeerDoctor (475), East Setauket, New York, USA Aug 17, 2008 Can, best by 10/03/08. Pours a dirty orange with a small white head that dissipates. Aroma of English pale malts, slight toasted malts, flowery hops. Flavor of wheat, toasted malts with a bittering finish. Nice malt backbone in this one complimented by the sweet, fruity, flowery hops. Easy drinking. fredandboboflo (471), East Setauket, New York, USA Aug 17, 2008 Can, best 10/3/08. Aroma of floral hops and baked grainy malt. Flavor exhibits a pleasant hop bitterness and more of that baked malt. Not bad, although the light hopping and British malts make it feel more like an English Pale Ale. kassner (138), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 15, 2008 Updated: Aug 19, 2008On tap at Jean Bonnet Tavern. Brownish Amber, , not wuch head, very notable grape flavors, Reminded me of a Pilsner like jever
