sinkr (121), Lusby, Maryland, USA Mar 26, 2008 Draft->juice glass (tasting@brewery): Pours a creamy, white, head atop of a amber body. Aroma is of caramel and grain, heavy hops, and citrus with a leathery tinge in there. The body is medium and gritty with no carbonation. The duration is long and is moderately acidic and bitter. A pretty good pale ale by my standards.
BeerGestapo (246), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 17, 2008 Courtesy of AFI96, thanks !! Pours a nice orange color with a foamy off white head. There is a citrus / caramel aroma and a spicy dry fruit taste. This brew is pretty damn good from a can. afireinside96 (330), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 12, 2008 12oz can served in a mug. Burnt amber in color with an orange hued head. Smells like caramel and fruit having sex. Lightly spicy, low bitterness with some biscuit and citrus character. Prickly carbonation. Decent. Biddle_Brau (86), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA Jul 2, 2008 Pours a golden honey color with thin white head. Aroma is of pine, citrus and vanilla. Hop bite tackles the tongue but there is an initial candy undertone. However, on the second sip the hops quickly overpower any malt sweetness. This is a heavily hopped beer that puts a hurt on your tongue. Glouglouburp (1872), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jun 12, 2008 In short: A well malted fruity Pale Ale. Good but falls a bit short on the refreshing bitterness department
How: Bottle, sample at Mondial de la Bière 2008
The look: Clear copper body with a small off-white head
In long: Lots of caramelized malts in this one, pretty big body for an American Pale Ale, I like that. Fruity flavours of citrus fruit skin and dried fruits (orange and others). A little sweet crispness very reminiscent of dried fruits. The hops do a good job at drying out the beer but lack that Pale Ale flavourful/juicy bitterness that makes you want more. It’s just a dry finish without much a refreshing flavourful bitterness sensation that I like from good Pale Ales. Not a bad beer at all, actually quite drinkable, but of all the unmemorable Pale Ales I’ve had this one is… I don’t know, I don’t remember the other ones. Nejhleader (772), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 11, 2008 very nice pale ale, tap at collisium. good body, nice goldish colour, bit of a hop aroma, nice light slightly bitter hop flavor to it,
