warrior (213), Mt. Wolf, Pennsylvania, USA May 16, 2006 One of the best can beers I’ve ever had. Glad to see a brewery put a good beer in a can. Beer had a decent hop aroma with some malts mixed in the end. A good full copper color with a full cream colored head. Head lasts a while and clings to the glass well. Good hop flavor and bitterness followed by a good malt biscut type flavor that balances well. It reminds me more of an english pale than an american because of the copper color and speicalty malts used. The hops are american but an american pale should be like a sierra nevada. That is just a minor issue, it still is a very good easy drinking ale. I will be buying this anytime a bottle just will not do because of the ocassion.
Beershine (1440), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Oct 2, 2008 Clear amber with lots of lace. Butter and caramel malt in the aromas. Soft, creamy mouthfeel. Balanced with some sweet maple overtones on top of a toasty waffle-like bottom. Oakes (6973), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Sep 30, 2008 Bright and amber, with a thin head. Woody, hoppy taste. It’s plenty dry, but with some good caramel and brown sugar notes as well. A well-balanced brew, with a good dose of pithy bitterness. Magic_dave6 (4000), London, Greater London, England Sep 14, 2008 Cask at GBBFwith the disco dance BRBcrew.
